Six studios and two apartments in one family's house, set above an olive grove ten minutes' walk from the harbour. Every room faces west, so the light comes in over the water at the end of the day.
Amelia's house, and the grove below it
Amelia was born in the house below this one. She keeps the rooms; her son Stelios runs the boat and meets the ferry.
The building stands on the slope west of Naoussa, above the family olive grove. It is ten minutes on foot down to the harbour and the fish tavernas, and a slower ten back up.
The rooms are plain, cool and well kept. The terraces are shared, the pergola under the vines is where everyone ends up, and on most evenings the loudest thing here is the wind in the olives.
Six studios and two apartments
All eight are in the same house. The studios sleep two or three and have a kitchenette; the two apartments have a full kitchen and take four or five. The prices are the nightly rate the season starts at. Send your dates and Amelia will confirm what she can do.

What comes with the room

The pergola and the outdoor kitchen
A long table under the vines, a stone sink and a hob, and the honesty bar in the corner. Write down what you take and settle it at the end.

Breakfast at your door
Bread, yoghurt, honey, fruit and coffee, left outside your room in the morning. €9 per person, ordered the day before.

The olive grove
The terraces below the house are still worked. You can walk down through them and carry on to the water.

Parking on site
Free, off the road and in the shade. Worth having in August, when Naoussa has none.

Port and airport transfers
Stelios meets the ferry and does the boat runs. Tell us your arrival when you write and he will fix a time.

When are you open?
May to early October. The house is closed the rest of the year.

What are the check-in times?
From 15:00, and check out by 11:00. If your ferry lands awkwardly we can usually keep your bags.

Is there a minimum stay?
Three nights in July and August. The rest of the season there is no minimum.

Can we bring a dog?
No pets, sorry.

Can we smoke?
Not indoors. The balconies and the shared terraces are fine.

How do we get up from the port?
It is about ten minutes on foot from Naoussa harbour. Ask when you write and Stelios will pick you up instead. If you drive, parking on site is free.

How does paying work?
You send your dates through this site, Amelia writes back with the price and confirms the room. Nothing is charged here.
Agios Dimitrios, above the bay
The house sits on the slope at Agios Dimitrios, west of Naoussa. Ten minutes down to the harbour on foot, twenty five minutes by car from Paros airport, and about the same from the port at Parikia.
